I want to thank our tour guide, Randy, for a wonderful tour of Bar Harbor. Randy was prepared, thoughtful and entertaining. I loved walking this beautiful, charming coastal town. My favorite food was the popover we tried with maple butter and jam. Bar Harbor was absolutely charming. Randy did clown tricks for the baby on the tour and gave great tips.

Our group of 8 did the Taste of Bar Harbor Picnic Tour. Our guide, Charlie, was entertaining and knowledgeable, having grown up on Mt Desert Island. The food was delicious and filling. I highly recommend a tour with this company.

This tour was an excellent choice to familiarize us with Bar Harbor history as well as the tasty local foods. Our guide, Senachie, was both personable and knowledgeable and toured us at a nice relaxing pace.

We always enjoy a good tour as it lets us enjoy some local spots we may not find on our own while getting an overview of the history of the town. This tour did exactly that! Guide was great and food was excellent. The sandwich from “Lunch” was unique and excellent- soft on the outside and crunchy on the grilled flat inside. Would definitely recommend this tour.

I've been on quite a few food tours and this is at the top because of the quality of the food, the history and our guide Senachie! I loved the focus on small, locally-owned businesses and restaurants. Senachie was so passionate about the food and families behind the products. As a history buff, I really appreciated that he took time to research and tell us more about Bar Harbor and the people, including indigenous people, who've lived and worked there. Take this tour early in your trip so you can go back and eat at the restaurants/cafes like we did!

We had a wonderful experience with Senachie. He was very informative about Bar Harbor and the restaurants in the area. I liked the focus on Maine-owned businesses that use Maine-produced products. Thank you for a great first-time food tour. The food was plentiful and delicious. The walking was not too strenuous and we got a nice overview of the town. I’d recommend you do this at the beginning of your time in Bar Harbor as you might want to go back to the restaurants for a full meal later.

Absolutely the best walking food tour that my wife and I have ever taken. Randy, our super nice guide, peppered the excellent and diverse snacks and sandwiches with local history and food culture facts. Highlight was definitely tastings at the artisanal olive oil and vinegar shop.

Fun time with Charlie and the four other guests on this scrumptious foodie tour. Lots of information and great stories about the island from the host. Food was varied, tasty and plentiful. How do they get the bread so crispy on the Italian sandwich???
